How it works

From alert to paid job

  1. Tell us your work and area

Sign up free and pick the jobs you fly — mapping, inspection, real estate, events — and where you work.

  2. Get the job by email

The moment a client posts a matching job, it lands in your inbox, so you can be first to quote.

  3. Quote and keep 100%

Send your price, talk to the client directly, and keep everything you charge. SkyLog takes no commission.

What it costs to bid

Alerts and browsing are free. You only pay when you want to quote — and never a cut of the job.

FAQ

Drone jobs on SkyLog: what pilots ask

Is SkyLog a drone job board?

Yes. SkyLog runs an open, public drone job board: clients post paid drone jobs free, every open job is visible to every pilot, and any pilot can quote on any job that fits. It is not a closed dispatch network — nobody assigns you work, you choose what to bid on and you set your own price. Pilot accounts also include free business software (flight logs, credentials, invoicing) for running the work you win, but the job board is the front door and it is free to browse.

How do the job alerts work?

Sign up free and tell us the kinds of drone work you do and where you work. When a client posts a job that matches, we email you straight away, so you can be one of the first to quote. Alerts are free on every plan.

How is SkyLog different from Droners.io, PayPixl or Zeitview?

Droners.io and PayPixl are open bidding marketplaces that take a commission on each job. Zeitview and Bees360 are enterprise dispatch networks — they hold the client contract and assign you missions at their rate. SkyLog is an open bidding marketplace like the first group, but takes 0% commission: you keep 100% of what you charge and pay a flat subscription (or $7 for a single quote) instead of a cut.

How much does it cost to bid on jobs?

Browsing is free. Seeing who posted a job and sending a quote costs $7 for that one job, with no subscription — or $20/month for 4 quotes, or $41/month for as many as you like. The SkyLog pilot toolkit comes with every option.

Does SkyLog take a commission?

No. You keep 100% of what you charge. The Marketplace plan is a flat monthly subscription.

How do I get the client's contact details?

On the Marketplace plan, contact details unlock automatically the moment you submit a quote — you'll see them on the job and in your notifications.
